Working Solutions offers expertise and resources for you and your dependents; a "dependent" includes a relative,
friend or neighbor for whom you have responsibilities that affect your ability to work. You may obtain services for your own needs as well. Services are available in three general family categories (but also include financial, some legal, college assistance information and convenience services):

Adult/Elder Dependents

To help you and your dependents, Working Solutions can offer help on issues like

  • Medicare and Medicaid

  • legal issues, including writing wills and developing a living will, trust or estate plan

  • in-home care or identifying a nursing home

  • transportation, meals, and chore services and

  • financial planning, including managing adult/elder finances and determining eligibility for social insurance benefits. Financial counseling is available to the member with a financial adviser over the phone.

  • education and counseling regarding the aging process and     coping with changing relationships as dependents age and

  • family support for those who are caring for the welfare of     adult/elder dependents. This may include using their concierge services, which give you access to nationwide assistance for travel and living.
  • This is just a partial list — call Working Solutions at 800-358-8515, or visit their website to see what else they can do for you or your dependents.

    Special Needs Dependents

A "special needs dependent" affects your ability to work and has impaired mobility and/or learning ability. They may be any age, including children, and do not need to be blood relatives. You may receive special needs service too, for example, if you've just been diagnosed with diabetes or as a "pre-diabetic". Working Solutions can help when you or your dependents face challenges like

  • asthma

  • attention deficit disorder

  • epilepsy

  • diabetes or

  • learning disabilities.

  • This is just a partial list — call Working Solutions at 800-358-8515, or visit their website to see how they can help you and your special needs dependents.

    Child/Family Services

This service will help you and your family with the issues surrounding your kids today. Child/family service is a broad topic, which is appropriate, as it covers a range of issues, at all stages of child development. Covered subjects include:

  • Prenatal/newborn solutions

  • Parenting

  • Child care

  • Teen issues and

  • Education (preschool through college). Finding funding for college can be tough; college payway can help.

  • Specifically, this new service can help you by:

  • Clarifying your child care needs

  • Educating you about the child care market and selection criteria

  • Referring you to appropriate resources

  • Providing you with related educational materials and

  • Following up with you to ensure that your needs have been met.

  • This is just a partial list — call Working Solutions/Optum Health at 800-358-8515 to see what else they can do for you or your children.

    Limits & Exclusions

Working Solutions cannot offer legal information or referrals on matters relating to Trust, Union, State or Working Solutions, Inc. issues.

If Working Solutions refers you to another provider — like an attorney or a nursing home — that provider may have fees they will discuss with you (for which you are responsible).
