Web Update

Trust Internet information continues to evolve. Here are some recent developments or items in production that may be beneficial to you.

In place as of Nov. 2001
• Cole Vision has put their provider directory online, and the Trust’s site is now linked securely to it.
• Working Solutions’ website, TodaysLife.com, continues to expand to include new databases to search for elder/child care.
• VSP recently renovated their site to be more user-friendly for members.

Coming attractions
• MetLife is working to build a comprehensive system that will provide real-time claims information.
• MetLife’s specialty dentists will be announced on the Trust’s site as they are added to the network panel.

Dental News
We continue to work with MetLife to expand the network for general and specialty dentists, and there is an important overlap to note. There are general dentists who perform specialty work, specifically, endodontics (root canals). Contact the Trust for a list of network providers capable of performing the procedure, including specialists and generalists. We’ll provide you with more information when it is available.
