The Trust automatically provides Union-represented Stateemployees with up to three additional plans for which the Trust pays the premiums. All members are also covered by Working Solutions Service upon hire. This information and referral service offers very specific and thorough help related to your adult dependents or children with special needs. The following plans cover you if you have at least one year of State service:
Disability Gap - is a special plan created last year to replace certain disability benefits that would otherwise have been taken away as of July 1, 1998. This plan works in conjunction with State and other retirement systems' disability programs.
Basic Life - One times your Basic Annual Earnings in life insurance coverage to your beneficiary if you die while covered. Confirmation of any changes you made in response to the recent beneficiary mailing will be coming soon, along with your booklet-certificate.
