Benefits Trust customer service is available from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday (not holidays). You may e-mail customer service at your convenience, and you'll receive a response, usually within one business day. Trust customer service deals with a variety of issues raised by the members and dependents who call the Trust; the usual areas in which callers seek assistance are eligibility, benefit continuance when leaving State employment and how to file claims. Trust customer service also advocates on the member's behalf if a member needs to intensify his or her communication with one of the insurance companies.
Trust customer service also fields calls from doctors' and dentists' offices, funeral homes, insurance company customer service representatives and Payroll/Personnel officers.
