REACHING THE TRUST
You’re the reason we exist. We were created by your Unions to effectively manage your dental,
vision and life insurance benefits, and add benefits/services to improve the quality of your life. We welcome your comments, thoughts and ideas
about the benefits and services offered by the Trust. So, tell us what you think. You can reach the Trust in several ways:
- Visit our website at http://www.benefitstrust.org: This website was implemented January 1999 as another way to serve you, the customer. Besides obtaining information about the Trust and your benefits, you can also email customer service
- Call us: Customer service and answers to frequently-asked questions are at your fingertips.
You can also have forms faxed to you and information packets mailed to you when you use the automated phone system, available soon.
- Contact Trust Leadership: Every issue of Trust Talk contains the names of our Board of Trustees,
and our website contains the phone numbers and email addresses (where applicable) of our Board members.
TRUST APPEARANCES
The Trust will be at OCSEA’s convention, August 26-28, to answer questions about the Trust’s
benefits and services. Working Solutions Service will also be there to conduct a workshop on Thursday, August 26 to discuss with delegates how
all members can use this free and confidential service more effectively.
The Trust recently attended a number of chapter and district meetings, as well as the OCSEA
Women’s Action Committee conference. While our staff is small, we’re happy to try to inform members about the benefits we provide. If you’re interested
in learning more about the Trust, send an email to trustmaster.org for assistance (through our website).
IN YOUR MAIL
We’ve thoroughly covered what you may be receiving from us or the insurance providers in your mail
this summer (page 1).
There is one more mailing to look for this summer that could have a great impact on you and your
family.
Look for a special offer from Working Solutions Service to arrive around Labor Day. This
promotion will highlight the importance of having a will (or estate plan), help you identify the assets you should protect, and offer you several
ways to protect your family. Please review the material when it arrives; this is especially important for members with children, and/or members
with non-traditional families.
The Trust provides you with Working Solutions Service at no cost to you, upon hire.
