When you call Prudential DMO®, you will get a new greeting: Prudential's now part of the Aetna
health care family.
Phone System
Unfortunately, our newly automated phone system did not meet up to our standards when open
enrollment began, and we missed that critical deadline we're sorry. (In the May Trust Talk, we promised that the new, 24-hour automated system
would be up to handle your open enrollment requests, and it wasn't.)
We've been working to improve the phone lines and the system ever since, and beginning soon,
the 24-hour automated system will be available to help you. Answers to frequently-asked questions, basic eligibility coverage information, and
form requests will be available throuth the new system by calling 614-508-2255 or 800-228-5088. We'll let you know when the system is ready.
To help you through the automated phone system, follow these easy steps when prompted:
- Enter the member's social security number (SN)
If you are a family member, enter the Union member's social security number. If you both are State employees, enter the SSN of the person
under whom coverage is listed.
- Enter the number associated with the member's Union

Basic life insurance

Obtain your monthly premium amount, hear Prudential's phone number, request forms or get claims or termination
information.

Under each benefit menu, press 0 if you need the customer rep.

Within most menus, press 9 to hear options repeated.

Within most menus, press * once to go back to the previous menu.

To speak with a person, press "0" once you’re in a benefit menu, and you'll be transferred to Trust customer service.
A representative is available 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
